1. What Roofs Local does

Roofs Local provides homeowners with an instant, estimated price range for roofing work based on aerial measurements and the details you provide, and then recommends an independent roofing contractor ("Contractor") from our vetted network who serves your area. Our estimate is an approximation for informational purposes only and is not a binding quote. Final pricing, scope, and terms are determined solely by the Contractor, typically after an in-person inspection.

2. Independent contractors; no liability for work performed

Contractors in the Roofs Local network are independent third parties. They are not employees, agents, partners, or representatives of Roofs Local, and Roofs Local does not act on their behalf.

While we vet contractors before admitting them to our network, we do not guarantee their work and make no representation or warranty regarding any Contractor. You are responsible for performing your own due diligence — including verifying licensing, insurance, references, and the terms of any written agreement — before hiring a Contractor and before authorizing or paying for any work.

3. No warranties

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Roofs Local does not warrant that estimates will be accurate, that you will be matched with a Contractor, or that any Contractor will meet your expectations.

4. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Roofs Local and its owners, officers, employees, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of property, profits, or damages arising out of or related to roofing work performed by a Contractor, your use of the Services, or your relationship with any Contractor. Roofs Local's total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Services will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).

5. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Roofs Local from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising out of your use of the Services, your engagement of any Contractor, or any roofing work performed for you.

6. Contractor participation

Contractors who apply to or participate in the Roofs Local network agree to any additional network, lead-purchase, and billing terms presented to them during onboarding. Contractors are solely responsible for maintaining valid licensing and insurance and for the leads they purchase and the work they perform.

7. Communications consent

By submitting your information, you consent to be contacted by Roofs Local and by the matched Contractor by phone, text message, and email regarding your roofing request. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes are effective when posted to this page, and the "Last updated" date will reflect the most recent revision. Your continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
